Patrick Swanney solicitor within the Private Client Team and Dementia Champion is hosting a Dementia Friends session on Friday 30 June to raise awareness of dementia

“I have hosted a number of dementia friends sessions across Lancashire which have all been sucessful"
“This event is designed to raise awareness of the disease and its symptoms. You will learn how to better recognise those living with dementia and about some simple ways to help - for example, how to approach someone on the street or in a supermarket if you see them struggling for whatever reason."
"More the 800,000 currenlty live with Dementia and therefore the more awareness people have, the better we wil as a society to help and assist."
