Forced Marriage

Smith Sutcliffe have established links with the Forced Marriage unit of the local Police service which enables us to provide fast and discrete advice to assist victims of Forced Marriage.

If necessary we can assist yoy to obtain a Forced Marriage Protection Order – which should  prevent attempts to force someone into a marriage that they do not consent to, or if a marriage has already taken place, to protect a victim while helping to remove them from the situation.
