In the main arena there will be parades of interesting vehicles interspersed with performances by the KLF Dance Academy. Already over 130 interesting and varied vehicles have been entered, including several car clubs; the Fire and Rescue Service will be displaying a pump appliance; the Police will also have an exhibit and the Army will be present with attractions in which the visitors will be able to participate such as climbing wall, a paint ball shooting gallery and a football activity!
In addition to all that Towneley Park usually affords, there will be a Children’s Fun Fair, various catering and other stalls, including the Advanced Motorists, a show regular.
The awards to the “Best in Show” and the class winners will be made by the Mayor of Burnley who will also make a presentation to the owner of “The Mayor’s Choice” from 4.00pm onwards.
If you have a classic vehicle or motorbike, this is an excellent opportunity to show it off to an appreciative audience
This is also a good opportunity for Charity and other Stall holders to take the opportunity to promote to a wide audience. Further details together with vehicle entry and stall application forms are available on the Event web site www.towneleyclassiccarshow.org. |
